Job Description: Desired Candidate Profile:

• Min 5 + years of experience on Google Cloud Platform as a Cloud Architect and 10 years across Google Cloud Platform/AWS / Azure overall.
• A technical graduate (BCA/MCA/B. Tech/M. Tech) with 10 to 12 Years of IT experience
• At least 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Anthos
• At least 4-5 years of experience in application Re-hosting, Re-platforming, and Re-factoring
• Strong in Scripting, such as Bash/PowerShell/Groovy
• Expertise in Design/operations and maintenance of public/private cloud infrastructure, migration of services from on-prem to cloud.
• Should be results-oriented with broad IT network security experience to meet the challenging business needs in a global environment.
• Solid understanding of cloud services offered by Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform, specifically the infrastructure, security, IAM and application orchestration services along with managed services for building SaaS/ PaaS applications.
• Cloud migration and cloud consulting experience required with primary on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) with MS Azure and AWS as secondary.
• Knowledge in multi and hybrid cloud design and maintenance
• Scripting and automation skills: JSON, Ansible, Terraform, and Python
• Network, Infrastructure and Security certifications on Google Cloud Platform (specifically Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Kubernetes Engine Specialist, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Kubernetes Engine Architect, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Anthos Architect)
• Competent in people leadership, communication, and presentation skills

Responsibilities:

• This position will be responsible to consult with clients and propose architectural solutions to help move & improve infra from on-premises to cloud or help optimize cloud spend from one public cloud to the other.
• Be the first one to experiment on new age cloud offerings (specifically on Google Cloud Platform), help define the best practice as a thought leader for cloud, automation & Dev-Ops, be a solution visionary and technology expert across multiple channels.
• Have good working Experience on different cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform with strong exposure and experience in Google Cloud Platform.
• Understands the Cloud Assessment methodology & Cloud Migration Framework, tools.
• Good assessment & analysis skills to be able to map the collected cloud attributes to the decision tree rules for cloud suitability, cloud migration patterns etc
• Be able to define a target landing platform architecture & design.
• Be able to independently assess different cloud attributes and determine the relevant target state for migration.
• Very good knowledge of the cloud migration patterns like Re-host, Re-platform, Re-factor and be able to apply the relevant pattern based on client responses to cloud questionnaires.
• Explain & effectively communicate the target state, architecture & topology on Google Cloud Platform cloud to client stakeholders.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, GKE)
• Strong experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, JFrog)
• Deep experience in at least one of these – infrastructure architecture, web application architecture, data architecture, integration architecture and excellent understanding in other cloud native solutions
• Continually augment skills and learn new tech as the technology and client needs evolve.
• Use the experience in multiple cloud platforms to drive the Google Cloud Platform cloud migration for customers.
• Provide leadership to project teams and facilitate the definition of project deliverables around core Cloud based technology and methods.
• Define tracking mechanisms and ensure IT standards and methodology are met; deliver quality results.
• Participate in technical reviews of requirements, designs, code/ scripts, and other artifacts.
• Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts in Google Cloud Platform.
• Security, Risk and Compliance – Advise customers on best practices around access management, network setup, regulatory compliance, and related areas.
• The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60 to $85/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
